Kalimba

Product Information: The kalimba (a.k.a. thumb piano) is a Bantu word which means "little music" – it is also an African percussion instrument that resembles the more archaic mbira. Hand-carved from a calabash gourd by West African artisans, the kalimba's metal tines and hollow interior produce a beautiful, resonating sound. Kalimbas are often decorated with unique burn patterns.
